Yes, the synth is very expensive. I'm hoping to create a version that uses an open source software synth so you wouldn't need an external synthesizer... just need to find the free time to do it.

THIS IS AWESOME. You should market this. I have one question, though. With the cost taken into account (the Roland JV, I mean, not the gloves or the computer or the Wii remote or the computer) would it have cost less to just buy a theremin? Prishatate it.

This is absolutely mind-blowing! You could easily be the Léon Theremin of the 21st century. It's very innovative and cleverly updated, in a way, by using the technology available now. Very retro-futuristic, I must say.
