well ive got a vid on here to prove it.. so dont doubt it. and it was only with around 800 watts... as for 2.5 hz where is the point it that. where in music/movies does it play frequencies that low?. btw not tryin to be an ass about this.

Not true. You can hear down to 12-16Hz, but you can feel down to 1Hz... and also I for one cannot hear anything above 12KHz.

Yes, I agree with your definition of subwoofer. And this meets your definition precisely. Perhaps you're put off by the high frequency noise of the fan blades? That is filtered out by the manifold on the other side of the door shown in the video. On the audience side, the effect is impressive.

Sorry, thats not a subwoofer. My understanding is that a subwoofer is a device that can reproduce low frequency sound wave under controlled conditions. ie: amplifier. or your case a motor.
